I wrote this piece when I was at the BMW Foundation leading their social finance and social entrepreneurship efforts, just as I was moving to Impact Hub for a year, as part of the investment made into them by BMW Foundation. I included myself as part of the investment deal, spending a year there to help with earned income strategies, like corporate venturing and accelerators.
